Kin-dza-dza! (1986) is a landmark Soviet dystopian sci-fi comedy directed by Georgiy Daneliya [18, 24]. Often described as "Mad Max meets Monty Python," it follows two ordinary Soviet citizens who are accidentally teleported to the desert planet in the Kin-dza-dza galaxy [8, 43].
