In a near-future society, citizens are granted 14 "luxury wipes" throughout their lifetime to remove traumatic or inconvenient memories. The protagonist has just used their 14th and final wipe, only to realize they accidentally erased the location of something—or someone—essential to their survival. Key Themes:
